Delivery and Setup
At AZ Party People, we aim to make your delivery, setup, and post-event pickup as smooth and stress-free as possible. Please read through the simplified guidelines below to help us ensure a hassle-free installation and event experience.
Before Tent Installation
Call 811: If you're installing in a yard, mark underground utilities or let us know if you have any that we should avoid.
Turn Off Sprinklers: Keep sprinklers off from installation to takedown.
Site Prep: Mow the grass, clear any obstacles, and ensure the ground is level, especially under the dance floor.
Remove Overhead Obstructions: Take down string lights or trim branches that could interfere with the tent.
Pet Safety: Put pets indoors and provide us with gate access or codes.
Power Needs: If you're renting multiple evaporative coolers, ensure you have enough outlets or consider a generator.
Safety First: Keep fire pits and BBQs at least 75 feet away from tents to prevent damage to the vinyl.
Before Your Event
Decor Setup: Use zip ties to hang décor, avoiding contact with the tent fabric. Avoid tape or adhesives.
Dance Floor Caution: Do not attempt to move the dance floor; our team will handle any repositioning.
Weather Precautions: Protect tables and dance floors from rain. We'll provide a tarp for covering if needed.
Tent Safety: Avoid loosening any ropes or straps attached to the tent for safety reasons.
After Your Event
Turn Off Sprinklers: Keep them off until we've completed takedown.
Decoration Removal: Use pliers to remove decorations—no knives, please.
Cleanup: Re-stack chairs and place soiled linens in the provided laundry bags. Clean tableware before returning it to the totes.
Final Steps: Remove all decorations and other rental equipment before takedown.
